LMU Pitwall wraps your Le Mans Ultimate racing in a single, connected career mode. You race in LMU as normal; LMU Pitwall is the world around it — it generates your calendar, writes your story, tracks every result, runs the paddock around you, and decides when you climb the ladder. One career, carried from your first race to a world title, all saved to your account.

It works as a loop. You generate a career, mirror it in LMU, log each round as you race, then finalise the season — your championship standing is calculated from those results — to find out if you've earned promotion. Everything else — the AI-written chapters, the reputation that decides which teams want you, the social feed reacting to your form, and your growing stats page — flows from those results without any extra work. Climb from Bronze to Platinum and win the title to become World Champion and take your place on the public Wall of Champions.

Open the Career Mode tab and enter your driver name. A handful of choices shape the whole career: your DLC collection (which sets the pool of cars and circuits), your starting class, how your car and team are decided, your season length, your race format, and your championship difficulty. Lock these in and LMU Pitwall builds your opening calendar and writes the first chapter of your story — the backdrop your first season plays out against. The season length, race format and championship difficulty you choose here carry through every season of the career, so the career has a consistent shape from Bronze to Platinum.

From this point on you never set anything up twice: your career lives on your account, and each promotion regenerates the next calendar, contract, and chapter for you automatically. Close the app and return whenever — it picks up exactly where you left off.

Launch Le Mans Ultimate and set up racing that mirrors the season LMU Pitwall generated. LMU has no multi-round championship builder, so you race each round as its own Race Weekend — select the matching circuit and your class, run the session, then report the result back here. Once you know the routine it takes seconds per round.

   Open Race Weekend From the main menu, go to Single Player → Race Weekend to build a custom event.

   Pick the Season & Circuit Choose the WEC/ELMS season and select the circuit for your current round — the first one listed in your LMU Pitwall calendar that you haven't logged yet.

   Configure to Your Preference Set AI difficulty, session and race length, weather, time of day, and grip however you like. LMU Pitwall only tracks your finishing positions — everything else is yours to choose. (This in-game AI difficulty is separate from LMU Pitwall's Championship Difficulty setting, which only affects how your season standing is calculated.) If you picked a Mixed or Endurance format, a good touch is to run a longer race on the rounds LMU Pitwall marks as Enduro, but it's entirely up to you.

   Set the Class & Grid Race in the class LMU Pitwall assigned you (LMGT3, GTE, LMP3, LMP2 or Hypercar) and fill the grid so your category runs a full, consistent field every round. You can include other classes for authentic multi-class traffic — only your own class position counts.

   Select Your Car & Team Pick the car LMU Pitwall assigned you. If LMU Pitwall gave you a real WEC/ELMS team, select its matching factory livery. If you created your own team, choose any car of the right class and set your custom number — LMU offline runs the real entry lists, so your team name lives in the LMU Pitwall story (and on a RaceControl livery online), not on the offline grid.

   Race & Report Back Run Practice, Qualifying and the Race, then return to LMU Pitwall and log your finishing position for that circuit before moving to the next round on your calendar.

After each round, return to the Career Mode tab and log your result for that circuit. Rounds are logged in order — a round stays locked until the previous round's result is in, so your season builds race by race exactly as it happened. Every round must be logged before you can finalise the season. This is the heartbeat of the loop: each result you enter feeds your reputation, your stats, the AI dispatch, and the paddock feed all at once.

   Qualifying (optional) Enter your qualifying position from 1 to 25. It colours how the narrative describes your race from that grid slot and feeds your grid-to-flag conversion stats. Skip it if you like — the race result is what matters.

   Race Result Enter your finishing position from 1 to 25. This is your classified result in that race, not your championship standing. Logging it unlocks the next round.

   DNF If you didn't finish — mechanical failure, incident, or any other reason — use the DNF button instead. DNFs are tracked separately in your stats and colour the narrative and paddock reaction accordingly.

These three feed directly into the systems that make a career feel alive — described together below, because in LMU Pitwall they're one thing, not separate features:

Le Mans Ultimate has no in-game championship mode — you race standalone Race Weekends — so there's no championship table for you to read a final position from. Instead, once every round is logged, LMU Pitwall calculates your championship standing automatically from your results, using the real FIA WEC points system (25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 for the top ten, plus a point for pole) ranked against a modelled rival field. You'll see a provisional points table with your computed position before you confirm. Hit Finalise Season and LMU Pitwall checks that position against your tier's promotion target, then closes the loop: it advances or holds your career, writes the next chapter, and generates the next calendar and contract. The number of rounds per tier depends on the season length you chose at the start:

Rounds (S / L) shows the round count for a Short season and a Long season at each tier. Promotion targets are the same regardless of season length or race format.

• Promoted: You advance to the next tier. A new AI-written narrative chapter is generated for your incoming season. Choose to stay with your current car and team, or pick from three new contract offers.
• Race your class, all the way: You pick a WEC class at the start — LMGT3, GTE, LMP3, LMP2 or Hypercar — and climb the whole ladder in it. A tier reflects your standing (AM → Pro), not your category, so you're never forced out of the class you love. You can still choose to switch class through a contract offer if you fancy a change.
• Target missed: You repeat the tier with a fresh calendar. Miss three consecutive promotions and you'll be offered the option to retire.
• World Champion: Finish P1 at Platinum and your career is complete. A career retrospective is generated and your name goes on the public Wall of Champions. Export your full story as a PDF.

Every season in LMU Pitwall opens with an AI-written career chapter — a piece of sports journalism that places you in the cockpit, names your engineer, references your team, and reflects where you are in your career arc. The writing changes as you progress: early seasons are about proving yourself; later ones carry the weight of expectation.

• Season chapters are generated fresh each time you advance or repeat a tier, shaped by your recent results, car confidence, and team relationship.
• Race dispatches are written after every round you log — a tight, vivid reaction piece in second person. A win sounds like a win. A DNF sounds like a DNF. The AI doesn't soften bad results.
• Championship retrospective — if you win the Platinum championship, a career-spanning retrospective is written covering your entire journey from Bronze to World Champion.
• Career memory — the AI carries context across seasons: past results, circuits you've raced before, your current team relationship, and your reputation in the paddock all feed into what gets written.

After every qualifying session, race result, and season milestone, a simulated social media feed updates on the right side of the career screen. Fans, analysts, critics, and commentators react to your results in real time — the same way they would in a real motorsport season.

• A pole position draws excitement from fans and tactical analysis from pundits.
• A race win triggers celebrations, with detractors quietly hedging their bets.
• A DNF brings out the critics — and the defenders.
• Reactions track your recent form — the feed notices if you're on a streak, slipping back, or making a comeback.
• When you're crowned champion, the feed reflects the scale of the moment.
• If you created your own team, the feed marks its arrival on the grid and follows its fortunes — celebrating its first results and noting the growing pains — as the team's story unfolds alongside yours.

The My Stats tab gives you a full data breakdown of your career — automatically derived from everything you've logged. No manual entry required beyond your race and qualifying positions.

• Race stats: wins, podiums, top 5s, top 10s, DNFs, best and worst finishes, average finishing position, and current clean streak.
• Qualifying stats: poles, front-row starts, best and average qualifying position.
• Grid-to-flag conversion: how many positions you gain or lose per race on average — a measure of your racecraft versus your qualifying pace.
• Circuit form: best circuits by average finishing position, and circuits where you consistently struggle.
• Best per circuit: your personal best qualifying and race result at every circuit you've visited, all seasons combined.
• Machinery and teams: cars driven, teams raced for, loyalty record, and win venues.

The Setup Advisor tab is an independent tool you can use at any time. If you're struggling with a handling problem during your races, select the issue you're experiencing to get a prioritised list of setup changes to try.

• The Engineer Note at the top of each issue gives you the key context before diving into specific adjustments.
• Adjustments are colour-coded by priority: red = high, amber = medium, green = low.
• Click a tile a second time to collapse the recommendations. The advisor works across all LMU classes — LMGT3, GTE, LMP2, LMP3 and Hypercar — and all DLC packs.
• Hypercar vs GT3 behave very differently. Hypercars lean heavily on aerodynamics, ride height/rake and hybrid electronics, so small aero and platform changes transform the car. LMGT3s carry less downforce and far more mechanical grip — you drive them "on the tyre", so reach for ARBs, springs, diff and tyre temperature first. Notes call out the class differences where they matter.
• Change one thing at a time, then run several consistent laps and judge the result — LMU's changes are often subtle. Avoid chasing a single qualifying lap when building a race setup, and beware a false sense of security from temperature: a setup that's superb when hot can bite when cold, and vice versa.
• Sprint vs endurance. For short runs you can go lower and more aggressive; for long stints favour stability and tyre life — the car you can repeat for 100 laps beats the one that's fastest for one. Several fixes note the endurance-friendly direction.

The Wall of Champions tab shows the ten most recent drivers across all accounts to win the Platinum championship. It updates live — if someone earns their title while you're viewing the page, they'll appear automatically within 30 seconds.
